CD-R & DVD-R Duplication

Mediatec Inc. offers professional duplication of CD-Recordable and DVD-Recordable Discs. This means sophisticated automated duplication equipment, high quality CD-R/DVD-R media, an experienced production team, and comprehensive testing and quality control procedures. We can produce as many CD-R's or DVD-R’s as your project requires.*
 

• The benefits of CD-R duplication include; on demand production at any quantity, quick turnaround times (rush service is available if needed), flexible labeling options, and easy reorders. Production times vary depending on the specifics of your order; however, we can ship many jobs within 24 hours. Partial shipments are also available with CD-R duplication.

A wide variety of labeling options are available for CD-R duplication including white adhesive labels with black and white or color printing, one color thermal printing, full color dye sublimation printing, and silk screen printing. Custom Labeling & Printing

Mediatec Inc. offers many custom labeling and printing options for CD and DVD discs. Our advanced printing processes include: laser label printing, one color thermal printing, full color dye sublimation printing, and silk screen printing. Whether your design incorporates sophisticated graphics or is only text, our talented graphics department will make sure your label looks great and meets your specifications.

1. CD-R/DVD-R Labeling and Printing Options (For CD-R/DVD-R Duplication Projects):

We offer printing of labels which adhere to the top surface of the CD-R or DVD-R discs. In addition, we offer direct printing on the top surface of both CD-R and DVD-R media. Both approaches allow for precise, high quality, color and black and white output. Further details are described below:

A. Black & White Laser Label Printing - Black and white laser labels are very cost effective. This option can be used for high quality text and/or graphics. It offers quick print times and consistent quality which make it a great choice when color is not required. (Many jobs involving black and white laser labels can be completed within 24 hours.)

B. Thermal Printing Directly on the Disc Top Surface - Thermal printing features black, blue, or red print on silver or white top surface CD-R and DVD-R discs (our standard is black print on a silver top surface for CD-R and black print on a white top surface for DVD-R). Thermal printing offers a very professional look when full color printing is not required. It is an excellent selection for printing text and simple graphics (vector graphics yield the best results with thermal printing). Thermal printing is typically used for jobs of under 2,000 discs and offers: low setup fees, versatile print options, rapid output, and is a cost effective alternative to silk screen printing. (Many jobs involving thermal printing can be completed within 24 hours.)

C. Full Color Dye Sublimation Thermal Printing Directly on the Disc Top Surface - Teac Dye Sub printing features exceptional full color disc and hub printing on CD-R and DVD-R media at 600 dpi (far superior resolution to silk screen printing). Teac Dye Sub printing is ideal for complex graphics including photo type images. Teac Dye Sub printing is typically used for jobs of under 2,000 discs and offers: low setup fees, versatile color print options and rapid output. (Many jobs involving Teac Dye Sub printing can be completed within 24 to 48 hours.)

D. Silk Screen Printing Directly on the Disc Top Surface - Silk screen printing is available in one to five colors (including 4 color process). They produce a CD-R or DVD-R disc with an extremely professional look. Silk screen printing is typically used for jobs of 500 pieces or more and involves slightly longer production times.
